The review went okay. Not really how I expected it to go, yet right on point.

Let me explain.  He told me that I need to communicate more to him about everything, no matter if it his client or not.  I agree and disagree with this, but whatever he is the boss.  Second, he thinks that I am not productive enough and that I could be better.  AND that I am making myself think that I am too busy to leave on time, that is why I stay after.

Making myself stay? Huh…that is a new one.

Because of the economy and what is going on in the government about the health reform, no raise.   (oh, if any one wants to know anything about what is going on with the health reform let me know. I know tons and am forced to go to many health reform meetings, like this past tuesday and wednesday.)

The good part is that he is cutting hours in the office, but not my pay.  Now M-Thur 8:30-5 and Fri 8:30-11:30.  Sweet huh?

I know with everything that the economy has been going through that I should be happy that I have a job, but I still feel like I am seriously under paid for how much stuff I do in the office. 

That is why I am still looking at some other options. 

I talked to my mom last night about it all and she said that I am still young enough to look around at my options and find something that I’m really passionate about.  And my experiences where I am now will be a huge asset to a new place. 

I totally agree with her.  I’m not at all interested in health insurance, even though I know a ton, more then most agents here in Louisiana.  Sad but true. But if I could get a place where I’m appreciated and get to do something that I love, even better.

Happy Thoughts?

1. I’m leaving in 4 days!!  I heart car trips!  I just don’t enjoy the packing and the unpacking.  So my preperation this weekend is to do laundry and pack at the same time.  Hopefully this will stop the mad dash pack on Monday night; like we always do.
2. It is friday and I have nothing planned for tonight.  I am able to sit home and cook a dish and watch whatever movie I want.  Hubby said he will be working late again, so call him when the food is done, and then he will go back to work.
3. The sun is out today!!  It has been raining off and on for over 2 weeks.  Everything has been muddy, cold, and flooded.  Not cool with me at all.  So the sun is a much needed sight to see.  However, if the temp would boost up to about 70 or so, I would be even happier.  but I guess you can’t always get what you want.
4. I’m getting all of my shopping done today.  No excuses.  I have to get it done today.  I don’t have time or the energy to fight the crowds this weekend.  I just have 3 people left and I’m all set.
